Let’s keep this short and sweet, yeah?
Mar 02, 2016 Kanye West caught searching Pirate Bay for VST plugin torrents. Kanye West has managed to embroil himself in more controversy today after he posted an image to Twitter which shows him searching for keygens and cracked copies of VST plugins on the infamous torrent website Pirate Bay.
Kanye uploaded a picture on Twitter yesterday of him watching a Sufjan Stevens video on YouTube. Pretty normal stuff, right? Yeah, until you take a closer look at his tabs.

See that second one from the left? It reads “Pirate Bay.” Yep. Kanye was looking to illegally download a copy of the VST “Serum,” which he had found by also searching for the “50 best VST/AU plugin synths.”
Really, Kanye? After complaining about being $53 million in debt, after exclusively releasing your album on a platform that 1) no one uses and 2) wouldn’t actually work for anyone wanting your album, you still have the gall to illegally download a VST that costs $189.00? You must really, actually, truly be that far in debt.
The irony wasn’t lost on deadmau5, either.
What the fuck @kanyewest … Can't afford serum? Dick. pic.twitter.com/8B2aiyORZs

Even better, the notorious Kanye West has taken it upon himself to respond, and the internet has collectively face-palmed as a result. Check it out below.
Kanye West Serum Crack 2017
Kanye West holds nothing back from his fans, even his possibly illegal Internet activities.
On Tuesday night, the artist posted a tweet that showed him watching a Sufjan Stevens video on YouTube. But look at his tweet carefully. As Mashable reporter Christina Warren discovered, West wasn't just safely, casually browsing the web. He also appears to be downloading a torrent from The Pirate Bay.

Or, you know, stealing.

A closer look:
Maybe we haven't taken West's debt claims seriously enough (He's said he's $53 million in the red)? The Pirate Bay is a great destination for hacker adults and broke teens. But the site doesn't discriminate. It certainly didn't turn away Yeezy, a multimillionaire award-winning artist who just released one of the most acclaimed albums of the year, The Life of Pablo.
LOL. @kanyewest has piratebay links open in Safari in his latest tweet. And a MacKeeper pop-up

@film_girl@kanyewest notice that he's listening on YouTube... Even he won't use Tidal.

Kanye West Serum Crack Lyrics
Kanye released TLOP on Tidal, forcing people to subscribe to Jay Z's streaming service, of which he is a co-owner, in order to listen. After he limited the album to Tidal, hundreds of thousands of listeners pirated it. Maybe Kanye just wanted to see what this torrent thing was all about?
Kanye appears to be pirating a file that begins with 'Xfe...' (likely from this site). Next to his Pirate Bay tab, Kanye had a tab open for Xfer Records Serum, a $189 piece of music software. He also appeared to have visited a Music Radar post that touted Serum as one of the best 'plugin synths in the world.'
EDM artist Deadmau5, who cofounded Xfer Records, called Kanye out for seemingly pirating Serum.

His cofounder, Steve Duda, also echoed his angst, retweeting a snarky tweet from Deadmau5 encouraging people to raise money for Kanye to buy Serum.
Let's start a Kickstarter to help @kanyewest afford a copy of Serum.
— deadmau5 (@deadmau5) March 2, 2016
'As an individual developer, I directly depend on sales to continue to earn a living,' Duda later told Mashable via email. 'I would hope that anyone who isn't $53 million in debt would purchase a license.'
Was Kanye doing something illegal? Probably. Does it matter? Sure. Is is still entertaining? Absolutely.
