- Apparently the new Xamarin iOS remoting simulator for Windows is available in the Xamarin Alpha channel for Visual Studio on Windows. However, there seems to be no mechanism by which it will appear.
- At user2707001 - That's a really nice bit of coding you've shown above, but I hate the cutesy look of iTunes 12, the lack of multiple windows, or large album graphics, the problems getting filters to work sensibly, the play que, etc.
Apple uses a service called Akamai to accelerate content delivery across the Internet. Rather than connecting directly to Apple's servers, which may be on the other side of the world, Apple is directing your computer to connect to a server near you. This server caches large files so not only can you retrieve them faster, you are less susceptible to large numbers of other people hitting Apple's servers directly. edgesuite.net, akamaitechnologies.net, and akamai.net addresses are some of the safest on the Internet, and you'll notice them if you look carefully when you hit other major websites.
